Strategic Solutions Network (SSN) is a privately-held business-to- business conference company based in Boca Raton, FL and New York. SSN was founded in 2009.
The SSN team is comprised of individuals who have deep event industry experience and proven talent in delivering value-laden information to business leaders. Every team member comes with multi-year conference industry experience and most team members enjoy long service with SSN.
Dharshan Wanasundera (Chairman):
Prior to founding SSN, Dharshan served as CEO of business conference organizers, World Research Group, World Congress and Corporate Research Group. He held these positions for over 12 years and in that time engineered the acquisition of Corporate Research Group, a leading health care newsletter publisher as well as the divestiture of several business units including the sale of a conference division to the Street and Smith Sports unit of Advance Publications.
His non-conference experience includes marketing and management positions at Shell International. He has an MBA from Fordham University in New York City and is a Holds a Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.
Aron Barkan (CEO):
Aron Barkan is an expert at building successful high-end executive events. Aron’s talent is his unique ability to develop forums to focus on the most current trends in growing industries. Aron and Dharshan founded SSN to deliver clients measurable long-term results.
In his last twenty five years as a conference industry executive, Aron’s personal approach has helped thousands of clients find innovative solutions in the areas of finance, e-commerce, securities, aviation, health care, pharmaceutical, law, government, transportation, entertainment, intellectual property, and sports.
Aron has held senior-level business development and management positions at the Institute for International Research, Executive Enterprises, and World Research Group, in New York where he served as Executive Vice President of Business Development.
Aron oversees SSN from its Boca Raton, Florida office.
